the Runestone

I’m currently an undergrad at BYU, majoring in English and minoring in Scandinavian Studies. I hope to teach community college and write books someday. I have a variety of hobbies, including reading and writing (of course), music (listening, singing, piano, guitar), art (viewing, drawing, painting), knitting and crocheting and other crafty-type things, and the great outdoors. Blogging is a fairly new hobby.

I will be taking a year and a half off, starting this fall (1 October 2008, to be exact), to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be serving in the Sweden Stockholm mission! I’ll be back sometime around April 2010.
